Philip Holmbjerg

Partner, ASEP - B. Sc. Process Engineering 2018

Philip holds a technical degree in manufacturing and process optimization and has over six years of experience applying RDS 81346 structuring principles to bring clarity to complex engineering designs. His work has focused not only on developing and documenting system structuring techniques and reference designations, but also on educating the industry about the RDS 81346 standard through webinars and instructional content on platforms such as YouTube.

Since 2019, Philip has been an active member of IEC Technical Committee 3 (TC 3), contributing to the development of all parts of the IEC 81346 standard series. He has served as project lead for several key additions and expansions within the series (81346-8, 81346-14, 81346-50), demonstrating leadership and deep technical insight. In recognition of his contributions to the advancement of IEC standards, he was awarded the prestigious IEC 1906 Award in 2024. 

Henrik Balslev

Henrik is a lead designer of implementing systems awareness in various industries with a strong technical profile and personal dedication to creating a common language among all technical disciplines. He is a specialist in system-of-systems, system integration and practical implementation of systems engineering for economic and technical benefits. 

Henrik has acted as project manager, project leader and project director of a wide range of complex designs (value 45,0 M EUR), where successful application of SE methods and disciplines has been an essential factor in each project. 

The daily practical application of systems engineering is a signature of his, and the personal strong wish to make systems engineering techniques practical to engineers and managers in daily life is a key factor for him. 

Since 1996 project manager and expert in IEC TC3 and ISO TC10 for the 81346-standard series. 

Lead architect of the ISO/IEC 81346-10 (“RDS-PS”). Received the IEC 1906 Award in 2017 and 2025 for his outstanding contribution to the IEC/ISO 81346 standard series.
